Throughout my extensive experience working as an animal nutrition consultant globally, I frequently encountered the challenge of milk fever. The repercussions of milk fever can result in a high remontisation rate. This issue persisted on high-performance farms relying heavily on lucerne (with high calcium content) and smaller farms without supplementary feed in the transit group. 

Our initial attempts with feed lime processing to improve calcium metabolism yielded no change. It was only when we explored the utilization of processed eggshells that we witnessed significant improvement. Eggshells boast a high calcium content and versatile applications. Overcoming the challenge of cows avoiding eggshells due to odor, we refined the formula by incorporating additional additives, resulting in the creation of our unique product, OVOCARE. Finely ground, it ensures high bioavailability for easy digestibility. Notably, the use of OVOCARE has also significantly reduced other metabolic issues, such as ketosis.
